Spartech Names Scot MacGillivray New Director of Sales for Healthcare, Specialty Packaging

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spartech, a leading manufacturer of engineered thermoplastics and custom packaging solutions, announced today that Scot MacGillivray has been named new Director of Sales for Healthcare and Specialty Packaging.

In his new role, MacGillivray will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategy focused on the long-term growth of a variety of Spartech business segments including healthcare, specialty packaging, food and beverage, household and consumer goods.

Prior to joining Spartech, MacGillivray served as sales manager for Enplas Life Tech, a global plastics technology company and a single-source manufacturer of medical plastic components, cleanroom molding, clean room assembly and precision tool making. He previously served in similar sales leadership capacities for Precision Engineered Products Group at NN Inc., and Precision Engineered Products, LLC.

MacGillivray has more than 25 years of experience in precision manufacturing, primarily in the mechanical and industrial engineering community. He has worked directly with start-up firms and Fortune 500 companies including many of the top medical device brands.

He has a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island. MacGillivray lives in Rhode Island.
