Monotype Enhances Mosaic With Addition of Fontsmith Typefaces

600 new fonts now available to Mosaic customers for unlimited desktop use and prototyping

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Monotype today announced that it has enriched its Mosaic solution, adding 50 font families as a result of the company’s recent acquisition of Fontsmith - providing creative professionals with a deeper, more diverse and edgy collection of fonts to prototype and use with unlimited desktop rights.

The addition of the Fontsmith IP brings approximately 50 new colorful and workhorse brand font families to the Monotype Library, including popular designs such as FS Albert®, FS Brabo®, FS Koopman™, FS Meridian™, FS Millbank® and FS Untitled®. Adding these designs to Monotype’s Mosaic solution provides designers with a more diverse inventory, and IT and Procurement professionals with an easier way to manage font distribution, sharing and collaboration across their organization.

All typefaces in Mosaic are cleared for unlimited desktop usage. Creatives no longer have to waste creative cycles, budget and time because they picked the “wrong font” for a project. Fontsmith designs can also be licensed directly through Monotype’s direct sales channel.
