California Virtual Academy Ready to Help Families Enroll for the 2020-2021 School Year

SIMI VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California Virtual Academy (CAVA), encompassing nine independent online public-schools serving K-12 students throughout the state, is ready to welcome students to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year beginning February 27.

Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and delivered entirely online, CAVA combines online instruction, rigorous curriculum and the support of state-licensed teachers.

In addition to working towards their high school diplomas, CAVA students can participate in the Destinations Career Academy Program (DCA), which allows them to discover exciting options for their future in career fields like Marketing, Sales and Services, Information and Communication Technologies, and Business and Finance, including some Microsoft® certifications. Students can also earn college credits through partnerships with local colleges and universities.

Virtual classes are taught by California-licensed teachers who provide instruction during live online class sessions, and are available to students via phone, email and one-to-one meetings.
