Trustwave Spearheads New Threat Detection and Response Innovation

New Security Products, Managed Services and Consulting Practices Propel Company Momentum as Organizations Focus Efforts on Finding and Eradicating Bad Actors from Environments

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RSA Conference – Trustwave today announced continued growth and leadership driving cybersecurity threat detection and response initiatives across enterprises and government agencies worldwide. This momentum coincides with growing demand for managed detection and response services, advanced threat detection products and security consulting.

In the recent report, the Market Guide for Managed Detection and Response Servicesi, Gartner estimated that by 2024, 25 percent of organizations will leverage managed detection and response services, up from 5 percent today.

“Detecting and eradicating adversaries before they take hold and cause untold damage to operations is now the top security priority for organizations,” said Arthur Wong, chief executive officer at Trustwave. “By unifying powerful threat detection and response services and technologies with today’s brightest minds in cybersecurity, Trustwave continues to set the benchmark for how organizations effectively respond to constant shifting tactics of attackers.”

Trustwave has achieved several recent milestones in threat detection and response including:

  • New managed detection and response services -- Trustwave Managed Detection and Response combines global threat intelligence, high-level security specialists and a proprietary threat analysis engine to correlate events on endpoints and throughout the entire network. Enterprises leverage Trustwave threat detection and response services across any environment including multiple clouds to identify known bad actors as well as pinpoint anomalous activity. In addition, Trustwave offers managed support for leading security technologies and security clouds including Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud and Cortex XDR, Microsoft Azure Sentinel, the Cybereason Defense Platform and others.
  • Data security products primed for threat detection -- Trustwave unveiled a new version of Trustwave DbProtect, an advanced platform that detects database configuration errors, excessive user permissions, missing patches, unauthorized data modifications and more on premises or across multiple clouds. Trustwave also offers cloud services for Trustwave Secure Email Gateway, a leading email security platform designed to combat advanced email-borne threats and manage policy compliance. The platform allows users to identify malicious links, block spoofing attempts and detect highly targeted spear-phishing attacks to any environment.
  • Unmatched security consulting -- Trustwave Consulting and Professional Services pooled its deep bench of cybersecurity consultants with its team of pentesters and incident responders to form a collective laser-focused on improving threat detection and response. Organizations gain access to highly specialized experts that assess the current state of security and risks, architect plans for improving how threats are detected and eliminated, implement technologies and deliver continued support either as advisors or hands-on through managed security services.
