LiveOak Venture Partners Launches Venture Advisors Program with the Addition of Four Key Executives

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveOak Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas, announced today the launch of their Venture Advisors Program, with four notable tech industry executives coming on board. The Venture Advisors boast a cumulative 12 decades of tech industry experience spanning executive leadership and deep functional expertise in finance, sales, marketing, growth, and engineering and will provide crucial guidance in these areas to the rapidly growing LiveOak Portfolio.

Lynn Atchison brings a wealth of financial expertise, as the former CFO of Spredfast, HomeAway & Hoovers. She boasts an impressive list of accomplishments, including leading Hoover’s and HomeAway through their IPOs and through successful exits. At HomeAway, she helped grow revenue from $10 million to $500 million before their 2015 acquisition by Expedia for $3.9 Billion. She currently serves on the boards of Q2 Technologies, Absolute Software, Convey, and RealMassive. Lynn will provide invaluable guidance to LiveOak’s Portfolio Company CFOs as they grow revenue and scale.

Peter Klante brings over three decades of marketing, technology and executive leadership experience with organizations such as CA Technologies, Vignette, IBM, and Cognos. As CEO or CMO of four Austin-based startups, he has played a key role in the creation and realization of significant shareholder value organizations through IPOs and acquisitions. As a Venture Advisor, he will focus on enhancing the value of LiveOak Portfolio companies through strategic growth planning and market positioning.

As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at OJO Labs, Dave Rubin brings over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience building, operating and scaling successful technology companies. Over the course of his career, David has built five successful startups, the last of which was ProfitFuel, the largest SEO company in the US with 220 employees and more than 12,000 SMB active clients at the time of its merger with Yodle in May 2011. Prior to ProfitFuel, David was founder & CEO of HomeCity, an online real estate company that had offices in Austin & Dallas, 100+ employees, and over $300M in annual real estate sales. David will provide broad strategic expertise and guide with scaling sales leadership for companies in the LiveOak Portfolio.

With more than 25 years building highly scalable technology platforms, Keith Zoellner currently serves as CTO of DISCO, one of the fastest growing companies in North America, named to Deloitte’s 2019 Technology Fast 500. Most recently, Keith facilitated large-scale growth at Spredfast, a market leader in social media management. Prior to that, Keith spent seven years at StoredIQ, where he developed a highly scalable categorization and indexing platform for the legal tech market that was later sold to IBM. With a proven track record of guiding early stage start up technology through substantial growth, he will be an instrumental resource to scaling best in class engineering teams in the LiveOak Portfolio.
