Alivi Expands Lyft Partnership to Improve Health Outcomes

Alivi Automates Non-Emergency Transportation Rideshare Services with Connected API

DORAL, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alivi, an award-winning company that provides solutions for health plans, today announced it has now connected its proprietary transportation platform, EpicRide, with Lyft, whose mission is to improve people’s lives through the world’s best transportation. The integration leverages the Lyft Concierge API and is a natural next step for Alivi given its work to improve health outcomes by automating rideshare request experience – making it easier and faster to order rides for members of Medicare Advantage plans.

EpicRide is Alivi’s proprietary transportation platform that provides reliable and high-quality Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services. Once a trip is scheduled, it selects the nearest, most reliable driver to provide transportation to medical appointments based on the member’s needs. The platform provides different modalities of transportation depending on the specific needs of the rider. On the back end, the app tracks and documents a driver’s location and destination, which reduces fraudulent trips and claims.
