Protection From Cellphone Radiation Has Never Been Stronger

Gadget Guard now offers rugged iPhone case with alara technology™—reducing mobile phone radiation exposure by 50% or more

NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah--()--When the tough get going, they’re going to need a Gadget Guard rugged case to protect their cellphones—and also themselves. The new rugged iPhone case with alara technology™ reduces user exposure to cellphone radiation by 50% or more while still maintaining the phone’s signal quality.

The rugged cases are available for shipping starting today at GadgetGuard.com and at Amazon. The slim case has been available since Oct. 7.

“The Gadget Guard rugged case is built for hardy souls with a habit of taking their phones through thick and thin—and back again,” said Ryan McCaughey, CTO of parent company Penumbra Brands. “The cases are also tough on cellphone radiation, which could have negative health consequences over time.”

A mobile phone transmitting without the alara technology generates an almost omnidirectional electromagnetic field. When the phone is held next to a person’s ear, the head is directly in the most intense region of the RF field.

Other radiation-reducing products on the market, including cases, use crude shielding materials that block antenna signals. These shields can actually cause the phone to transmit at a higher power to compensate for the lost signal, nullifying the benefits of the shield and draining the phone’s battery.

The alara technology-enabled case is embedded with micro-thin antennas that automatically pair with your phone to dramatically reduce exposure to cellphone radiation. Instead of shielding or blocking radiofrequency or RF, the case redirects it away from the user. This makes it possible to provide protection and still keep the signal strong.

The rugged case’s tough impact-resistant core, plus the shock-absorbing frame provides up to 10-foot drop protection. The slim case protects up to a 4-foot drop. Microtextured sides ensure good grip, and actuating volume and power control buttons on the rugged case have a “real-click” feel.

The alara technology has been independently tested by RF Exposure Lab, an accredited cellphone test laboratory. In those tests, the Gadget Guard with alara technology cases reduced radiation by as much as 78% in situations simulating normal use.

With alara technology, users are better protected against harmful radiation and can continue to use their phones with less worry.

The rugged Gadget Guard case with alara technology is $49.99. The slim version is $39.99. The cases are available now for all iPhone 11 models.
