NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Integrative Life Center (ILC), a leading community-based behavioral health care provider in Nashville, announced the expansion of its growing team with the addition of Sherry Young, PhD, who will serve as a Clinical Outreach Professional for the organization. Young brings more than 15 years of clinical liaison experience and a behavioral health specialization to ILC. Additionally, her company, Right Fit Consulting, has selected Integrative Life Center as one of their preferred treatment providers.
In addition to her new position with ILC, Young’s work as an independent clinical consultant includes serving as a clinical liaison providing triage, assessment, treatment referral and admissions advocacy for clients of licensed therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists who provide treatment for mental health and addictive disorders. Young holds a master’s degree and PhD in psychology and literature from the University of Dallas and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT).
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Sherry for over 15 years. Her reputation has always been one of the highest in the industry. Her integrity guides her as she fiercely advocates for clients, doing right by them in their time of need. We’re fortunate to have such an experienced and reputable professional join our organization,” said Christi Cessna, Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Integrative Life Center.
As a clinical outreach professional, Young will be responsible for advising clinicians and assisting clients and families in crisis, helping them find appropriate treatment and supplemental resources for their care. Her contribution to the ILC Business Development team is outward-focused, working with people at their most vulnerable stage while empowering them to make change.
ILC has experienced significant growth in the past year, expanding its team, programming and breadth of treatment modalities. “ILC is noticeably out of the box, thinks broadly and is truly client-centered. They are very flexible when working with clients that vary from everyday client services. They recognize that there is not one fix-all program or element to serve these clients. These clinicians truly understand personalizing client care,” said Young.
