NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HealthTrust, a leading healthcare performance improvement company, today announced it has completed the purchase of Resource Optimization & Innovation, LLC (ROi), a St. Louis-based group purchasing organization with members including Mercy, Orlando Health, Inc., and Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. ROi is also accountable for supply chain management at Mercy, one of the nation’s largest Catholic health systems.

As part of the transaction, ROi’s custom procedure tray operation, offering customized surgical packs tailored for clinical end-users, has been established as ROi CPS, LLC, a new company majority-owned by HealthTrust with Mercy and other former ROi owners maintaining a minority ownership.
