Walston is an accomplished marketing, e-commerce, and product development business leader with more than 30 years of experience driving revenue growth for companies through data-driven, omni-channel marketing.

At MedStar, Walston built and managed a highly effective marketing team that drove new patient growth year-over-year by 13 percent in the highly competitive, episodic urgent care marketplace. He also served as lead consultant at Impact Makers, directing digital marketing and social media healthcare consulting engagements, and was Senior Vice President of Consumer Direct, E-commerce and Product Development at Intersections Inc. In addition, Walston has held senior management roles at IBM and uKnow.com. He holds a Master of Mass Communications from the University of Florida.
