PDI Named to Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2019 Best Places to Work List

The software company’s collaborative workspace, professional development program and focus on employee engagement are key components of its great culture

ATLANTA--()--PDI, a leading global provider of enterprise software solutions to the convenience retail, petroleum wholesale and logistics industries, was recently selected as a best place to work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The 2019 list honors 100 companies of various sizes and is compiled based on anonymous employee survey responses collected in partnership with Quantum Workplace.

“This is one of the most meaningful awards we’ve received as a company since establishing our headquarters in Alpharetta because it’s indicative of the world-class culture we strive to build and the top talent we want to attract and retain,” said Jimmy Frangis, CEO at PDI. “We’ve been in business more than 35 years, and one of the main reasons we continue to be successful is because our team members at every level of the organization take ownership of our mission to help our customers and employees thrive. This award belongs to them.”

The survey administered by Quantum Workplace evaluated several categories, including work environment and people practices. PDI’s focus on creating centers of excellence that encourage collaboration and ideation, as well as its company-funded professional development program were integral to its selection this year. While PDI has nearly 1,000 employees throughout North America, Europe and Asia, the survey was based on feedback from employees in the company’s Atlanta area office.

Over the last year, PDI was also named to Inc.’s 2018 Private Titans 1000 and the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) 2019 Georgia Fast 40 lists. The latter recognizes the top 40 fastest-growing, middle-market companies in Georgia.

Finalists for the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2019 Best Places to Work list will be honored during an awards ceremony tonight at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel.
