LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Matter Real Estate Group, a community-minded development firm, broke ground on Matter Logistics Center @ West Cheyenne on August 1, 2019. The $70-million advanced, modern master-planned light industrial and warehouse project spans more than 41 acres and is slated for a February 2020 completion.
The project is located on a notable stretch of roadway that is home to some of North America’s most sophisticated logistics and food service firms. After years of scarce supply, Matter has introduced this five-building master planned logistics center where quality and consistency of design combine to make the newest corporate address.
“Located in the thriving North Las Vegas submarket, this light distribution project will specifically address the lack of small and mid-bay product in this well-established area,” says Jim Stuart, partner with Matter Real Estate. “With immediate proximity to both I-15, US 95 and only a few miles to the Las Vegas Strip, the site will service both distribution and operations for the region, and importantly, the tourist and convention corridors.
The five buildings will vary in scope and size and will offer warehouse, distribution, office and showroom space, with square footage ranging from 11,000 to 478,000 square feet. Units will also feature ample dock and at-grade loading with clear heights reaching 36 feet and will be available for sale, lease or build-to-suit, with the developer building the units to each tenants’ specifications. The project will also include ample parking and trailer storage.
Earlier this year, the firm revealed a significant new mixed-use project, combining business, retail, entertainment, and food all in one package, aptly named “UnCommons” at Durango Drive and Interstate 215. The company also recently broke ground on Phase one of Matter Park @ West Henderson, a 475,000-square-foot light industrial office/warehouse project in Henderson, Nevada. Matter is also nearing completion of Matter Park @ Warm Springs with 135,000 square feet and sold Matter @ Craig, a 156,000-square-foot Class A industrial facility in North Las Vegas. Currently, the company has more than $500 million in development projects underway in Las Vegas and other select western markets.
