WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Y Analytics announced today that Diane Mak has joined as Senior Director of Impact Solutions and David Frank has joined as Managing Director of Client Service & Product Development. In her new role, Diane oversees the direct impact assessment work helping investors and capital allocators make more effective, evidence-based decisions to drive measurable impact. David will lead client development and services, as well as the continued development of an innovative portfolio of research-based impact assessment offerings.
“Our mission at Y Analytics, building upon the strong groundwork laid by the impact community, is to advance rigorous, research-based disciplines that help capital allocators make more impactful decisions,” said Maryanne Hancock, CEO of Y Analytics. “Diane and David will play critical roles in this pursuit. Their track records of success and expertise will be vital for our team and our work.”
Previously, Diane was Director of International Development at Social Finance UK, where she focused on structuring results-based financing mechanisms to address development challenges in the UK and Africa. She also worked in the investment banking division of Citi, with a focus on the consumer and retail sector.
“The United Nations estimates that an additional $2.5 trillion a year of investment is needed to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and reaching these goals will require support from investors and capital allocators. We need to equip them with a better understanding of what creates significant positive impact and the tools to assess and measure outcomes. Y Analytics is helping build these solutions, and I look forward to supporting these efforts to drive change,” said Diane.
David was formerly a Partner at McKinsey & Company, most recently serving as the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Atlanta office and a leader across several of the Firm’s practice areas. During his time at the Firm, he served private and public sector clients, including significant time spent on economic redevelopment efforts in war-torn nations.
“Y Analytics focuses on helping investors make better decisions by providing a suite of impact assessment services that leverage research to determine what is the most effective and efficient deployment of capital. I look forward to working with the team to best serve our clients’ needs for the benefit of all,” said David.
