GLENDALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Certified Management Group LLC, the outsourced sales and marketing agency and brand management company that helps food and beverage brands penetrate high-growth, independent segments of the food-away-from-home channel, today announced Doug Middlebrooks has joined CMG as chief growth officer.
Middlebrooks brings in-depth CPG industry expertise in channel planning, brand operations, commercial execution, retail shopper marketing and business development. In his new role, Middlebrooks will lead CMG’s client partnerships at the senior level, reporting to President and Chairman Hal Kravitz. He and his team will oversee the development of CMG’s client growth strategies and target brands to add to the company’s expanding portfolio.

Middlebrooks joins CMG after a 30-year career with the Coca-Cola system. He began his career with the Minute Maid Company and then held a variety of sales and marketing positions with Coca-Cola, including roles in foodservice and retail customer sales and bottler management. Doug held leadership positions within Coca-Cola’s marketing and commercial leadership functions, including channel planning, brand operations, commercial execution, and retail shopper marketing. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president of shopper marketing.
Middlebrooks earned bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing from The University of Texas, and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rollins College.
