Physicians’ Education Resource® to Host ASCO Direct™ Highlights in Nashville

The meeting will feature a rapid recap of the most important findings in clinical oncology

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--Physicians’ Education Resource® (PER®), a worldwide leading resource for continuing medical education (CME), will present its ASCO Direct™ Highlights Saturday, June 29, at the Millennium Maxwell House Nashville in Tennessee. The program will be co-chaired by Dr. Leora Horn, associate professor of medicine, assistant director of the educator development program and clinical director of thoracic oncology program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Dr. Melissa L. Johnson, medical oncologist at Sarah Cannon Research Institute.

ASCO Direct™ Highlights is a one-day program designed to provide medical and surgical oncologists, as well as nurses and pathologists, with key practice-changing data from the premier clinical oncology event in North America. The top abstracts in solid tumors, including thoracic, breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, gynecologic, and dermatologic malignancies, will be featured. The top abstracts presented in hematologic malignancies will also be discussed. In addition, extended time will be devoted to discussing the top abstracts from the overall American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting, including the plenary session.

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and approved by California Board of Registered Nursing, this live activity will provide attendees with the opportunity to earn up to 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and nursing contact hours.
