CONCORD, Calif.--()--VEP Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of Harneet Singh Bath, MD, MBA, FACP, to the position of Vice President of Inpatient Services.

Dr. Bath is board certified in internal medicine and has been a practicing physician for more than 15 years. In addition to serving as VP of Inpatient Services for VEP Healthcare, he is Vice President/Chief Medical Officer at Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. Dr. Bath also has experience with hospitals of various sizes (large trauma center to critical care access), multi-site and multi-specialty physician practices, rural health centers, and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

Dr. Bath is an experienced executive physician leader. His adaptive leadership, financial acumen, operations management, change management, and strong interpersonal relationships have enabled Dr. Bath to consistently succeed in achieving the “quadruple aim” of improving quality, improving both the patient and physician experience, and reducing the cost of care.

Dr. Bath received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He completed his postgraduate medical education in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Bath also holds a Masters of Business Administration (Executive) from Kellogg University (Northwestern University) in Chicago. In 2018, Becker’s Health named Dr. Bath among America’s “Best CMOs to Know.”
