WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the fourth consecutive year, GEICO’s mobile capabilities earned the highest overall ranking in the Dynatrace Q1 2019 Mobile Insurance Scorecard among the 12 largest U.S. auto insurers. GEICO ranked number one in all four scorecard categories (Functionality, Ease of Use, Privacy and Security, and Quality and Availability) and ranked first in both mobile modes (mobile web and mobile apps for iPhone and Android).
GEICO uses Dynatrace’s Scorecards for Financial Services to assess its competitive position, identify best practices in digital delivery, and to refine its roadmap planning to meet the needs of policyholders and prospects.
"GEICO continues to provide a best-in-class digital experience for its customers,” said Ben Rushlo, vice president Dynatrace. “Nowadays, customers interact with insurers across a number of platforms – mobile apps and mobile web among them. GEICO’s consistent use of practices helps it deliver a superior digital experience.”
“The feedback we get from our policyholders is very encouraging as well,” said Greg Kalinsky, GEICO executive vice president and chief information officer. “In 2009 our mobile team and our entire IT department created a plan to make mobile transactions for our customers simple, efficient and quick. We are delighted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of that plan with this recognition from Dynatrace.”
Dynatrace’s Mobile Insurance Scorecard is fact-based, customer experience best-practices benchmark based on more than 150 objective criteria that provides a bi-annual ranking of the top 12 U.S. auto insurance carriers' mobile capabilities to support acquisition and servicing.
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company), the second-largest auto insurer in the U.S., was founded in 1936 and insures more than 28 million vehicles.
