Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded $5.5 Million Contract for Upgrades to U.S. Missile Defense System

MELVILLE, N.Y.--()--May 01, 2019 -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) announced today that during the third quarter of fiscal 2019, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a contract valued at more than $5.5 million for high-power satellite communication (“SATCOM”) amplifiers to relay data for the early detection of missile launches.
