SAND SPRINGS, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Webco Industries, Inc. (OTC: WEBC) announced the appointment of David E. Boyer as President of the Company, a position held by Ms. Dana Weber since June 1995. Mr. Boyer will continue to hold the position of Chief Operating Officer and Ms. Weber will continue in her role as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Boyer has been Webco’s Chief Operating Officer since March 2011 and was appointed to Webco’s Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman in October 2018. He also holds the position of Senior Vice President of Tubing Operations, a position he has held since May 2001. Mr. Boyer has previously served as our Vice-President of Sales and Marketing; General Manager of our Stainless Division and a Product Manager. Mr. Boyer has been with Webco for 34 years, having joined the Company in 1984.
Mr. Boyer graduated from Millikin University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Boyer received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1984 and is also a Fall 1998 graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
