Butcher has experience representing a broad range of public and private entities—from Fortune 100 companies to private equity firms—structuring and negotiating mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, entity formations, general corporate governance matters and a wide range of commercial contracts.

Butcher attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned degrees in Finance, International Studies and Spanish, cum laude. She received her Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law, where she was a member of the DePaul Law Review and the Order of the Coif.
McDaniel has spent her career working with some of the largest law firms in the country, including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP; she has also served within in-house corporate legal departments. McDaniel’s expertise includes M&A transaction assistance, entity formation, corporate governance, and private equity financing.
