Proskauer Adds Special Privacy Counsel Bonnie L. Yeomans

NEW YORK--()--International law firm Proskauer announced the arrival of Bonnie L. Yeomans as special privacy counsel in its Corporate Department, set to begin on April 2nd.

Ms. Yeomans is a seasoned data privacy practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in-house at CA Technologies, where she acted as an assistant general counsel and vice president. She ensured the company’s compliance with EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the development of key programs focused on incident response, breach notification, privacy, data inventory, and employee training and awareness. Her practice also focuses on compliance, data security program management, cybersecurity strategy and privacy by design. She has extensive knowledge of global privacy requirements including GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, HIPAA, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms and has created programs for compliance with privacy laws in U.S., EMEA, Latin America and Asia. Ms. Yeomans received her B.A. in Economics cum laude from Yeshiva University, and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
