AVON LAKE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hinkley Lighting Inc., a leading designer and distributor of decorative lighting, announced today its acquisition of Regency Ceiling Fans and related assets from parent company, Tacony Corporation. The announcement was made by Jess Wiedemer, president of Hinkley Lighting, at the company’s Global Headquarters in Avon Lake, Ohio.
Tacony Corporation is based in St. Louis, Missouri and operates a portfolio of businesses, with a focus on floor care products and sewing products. For Tacony, the acquisition allows the company to focus on its core business markets while providing a suitable home for Regency Ceiling Fans.

Hinkley is a well-recognized and respected brand in the lighting industry used by homeowners, designers, contractors and light commercial specifiers. Hinkley’s brand portfolio consists of Hinkley Lighting and Fredrick Ramond. Regency Ceiling Fans will join Hinkley Lighting at its Global Headquarters in Avon Lake, Ohio.

As for changes at Hinkley, there will be few. Hinkley brands will continue to operate as is with management staying at the Global Headquarters. Distribution channels will not change and facilities will remain in place.
