All three of these market leaders have a strong record of leveraging innovation and creativity to make an impact, and will help Carnegie Learning continue to deliver smarter technology that goes beyond basic assessment, instruction and practice.

Traci Burgess serves as CEO of BrightBytes, a provider of end-to-end data management for education organizations. She began her career in the classroom and became committed to finding solutions for some of the issues she encountered there. Traci previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Think Through Math, as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Catapult Learning, and the Vice President of Sales at Blackboard and Thomson Learning. "My interest in math learning began with my own education, and carried through to my time as a classroom teacher,” she said. “With Carnegie Learning's legacy in the math and technology space, my experience in the classroom, and my 20+ years in educational technology, I’m excited to support their goals around accelerating the role of technology in our country’s classrooms."
Prior to his appointment as the eighth president of the University of Phoenix, Peter Cohen served as Executive Vice President of McGraw-Hill Education, a leading global learning science company, where he helped the organization roll out multiple new technological offerings. Peter has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Pearson Education’s School division, and Chief Executive Officer of both Sylvan Learning Center and Educate, Inc.
