DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gregory A. Hosler, M.D., Ph.D., FCAP, ProPath’s Director of Dermatopathology and Fellowship Program Director, was recently elected President of the Texas Society of Pathologists and sworn in during the 98th Annual Meeting in Bastrop, Texas.
Texas Society of Pathologists (TSP) is the oldest pathology state society in the United States. It was founded in 1921 and serves over 1,000 practicing pathologists and trainees across the great state of Texas. Dr. Hosler has been an active member of the society since 2006 and he’s looking forward to overseeing the direction of the society.
“The TSP has been very influential to me. It has provided an opportunity to get face-to-face with legislators, medical directors of private and public payers, chairpersons of large academic institutions, and leaders of private groups. It has provided opportunities for collaboration and introduced me to young future hires. And perhaps the largest benefit has been germinating a few life-long friendships.
