NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. (NYSE:MITT) (the “Company”) announced today that the public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock has priced at $17.05 per share, resulting in gross proceeds of $51.2 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses. In connection with the offering, the Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to close on February 14, 2019.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund purchases of residential mortgage loans, commercial mortgage loans and its target assets in accordance with its investment objectives and strategies, as well as for other general corporate purposes.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. JMP Securities LLC is acting as co-manager for the offering.
