Physicians’ Education Resource® to Host Virtual Tumor Board®: Diagnosis and Management of Polycythemia Vera and Myelofibrosis, a Live Video Webcast

This live webcast will provide the latest insights on five patient cases with polycythemia vera (PV) or myelofibrosis (MF).

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--Physicians’ Education Resource® (PER®), a leading resource for continuing medical education (CME), will present an interactive live video webcast entitled Virtual Tumor Board® titled “Diagnosis and Management of Polycythemia Vera and Myelofibrosis” Thursday, Feb. 21, at 8 p.m. EST. The tumor board will be chaired by Ronald Hoffman, M.D., Albert A. and Vera G. List professor of medicine, hematology and medical oncology and director of the myeloproliferative disorders research program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

During this live CME-certified educational webcast, Hoffman, along with faculty expert Gillian Sanchez, MPH, BSN, RN, clinical research program manager for the adult leukemia program at the Icahn School of Medicine, will explore trends in the prognostic scoring, molecular diagnostic studies and appropriate guideline-based management of MPNs, as well as current and emerging therapeutic strategies across MPNs.
