TaskUs Emerges as Clear Leader in Employee Engagement and Excellence in Company Culture

The company was honored as one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2019 and received five other prestigious awards

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--()--TaskUs, the world’s leading customer experience and business process outsourcing firm for rapidly growing companies, was recently recognized for its exceptional company culture. TaskUs received six industry awards in just the last month.

TaskUs debuted in the top half (#40) of the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing the 100 Best Places to Work in 2019. The Employees’ Choice Awards program is based entirely on input from employees who provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and the company. This year, TaskUs had an impressive 4.3 (out of 5) score on the platform and 99 percent voiced their approval of CEO Bryce Maddock.

“What makes TaskUs exceptional isn’t just that we attract talented people to join our team, it’s that they choose to stay with us,” said Maddock. “Our team fuels our growth and winning the Glassdoor award is a testament to the collaboration and dedication of everyone on our team from the frontline to the C-suite.”

TaskUs also won the Investors in People (IIP) Platinum Employer of the Year award at the recently concluded 2018 IIP Awards night in London. The award recognizes companies that demonstrate the best of the best in people management and leadership. The title is the biggest award of the night and the highest distinction that IIP can bestow upon any company. In its evaluation for the award, TaskUs was the highest scoring of all organizations with over 5,000 employees.

“To have won the IIP Platinum Employer of the Year award over fierce competition is truly a significant achievement for a company of our size and especially in our industry,” said Isabel Bernal, TaskUs’ VP of People Insights and Strategy. “We are the largest IIP Platinum organization in the world with over 10,000 employees, and we are the first organization in the Philippines to get the IIP’s Health and Wellbeing certification.”

Of the Comparably employer awards, TaskUs landed not on one but on three lists: Best Company Culture, Best CEO and Best Companies for Women. Like Glassdoor, Comparably awards are based entirely on employee feedback, there is no submission or nomination process.

It’s fitting that TaskUs, founded by millennials and known as the “ultimate millennial office,” was recognized by LinkedIn Philippines as the “Most Socially Engaged Brand.” Using the #ridiculous and #Us hashtag campaigns, TaskUs effectively promoted their brand as “ridiculous” (risk-taking while having fun) and conveyed their core value of teamwork.

The investment from Blackstone in TaskUs (announced in August), in addition to the many honors the company was awarded this year, is proof that being good to employees is also good for the bottom line.
