The new office is located two miles southwest from the current location in Monroe County, which has been designated as a dental health professional shortage area by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It will have better parking, accommodate more patients and feature many amenities to make the patient experience more comfortable, including chairside televisions and the ability to use headphones.
The office offers extended hours: Monday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as well as select Saturdays. Walk-in and emergency patients are welcome.
Mijin Kim, D.D.S., who received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Rochester, leads the practice. Dr. Kim and her team provide dental services ranging from dentures and preventive care, to general dentistry and restoration.
