SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TaskUs, the world’s leading customer experience and business process outsourcing firm for rapidly growing companies, has capped off 2018 with “ridiculous” growth of its global footprint, adding five new offices in the U.S., Philippines, Taiwan, and Mexico. The expansion consists of further growth in existing markets as well as breaking ground in new territories. In 2016, TaskUs opened its first domestic site in San Antonio. The location has grown rapidly to over 2,000 employees and is now being followed by a second location inside San Antonio and a third location in the neighboring city New Braunfels, Texas. The New Braunfels location already boasts 330 full-time employees and is in the midst of a big holiday hiring push to bring on an additional 1,000 employees for the season.
TaskUs expanded into Taipei, Taiwan, this year. Taipei appealed to TaskUs for its abundance of educated, young talent, many of whom are multilingual. TaskUs clients are powerhouses globally, so a workforce that speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and English is invaluable. The office currently has 200 full-time employees and is expected to continue to grow.
Mexico is another new market for TaskUs, and Baja North is now home to a new office. Like Taipei, Baja North also offers a large pool of talent and, since many citizens are fluent in English as well as Spanish, the site brings an unparalleled bilingual capability. The office has 300 full-time employees and is quickly growing.
The Philippines has always been a stronghold for TaskUs, and this year, that deepened as TaskUs added two new offices, bringing the total number of offices in the Philippines to eight. With the addition of the Bulacan and La Union offices, TaskUs has added nearly 1,000 full-time employees and sees no signs of slowing down.
The major investment from Blackstone in TaskUs, announced in August, has played a significant role in fueling the company’s growth and global expansion. With the new locations added, TaskUs now boasts more than a dozen offices throughout the world and looks to expand into Europe, India, and Latin America in the next 18 months.
