NCI EVP and COO Sandy Gillespie Named WashingtonExec 2018 Pinnacle Awards General Manager of the Year

Leader recognized for instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration and operational excellence

RESTON, Va.--()--NCI Information Systems, Inc. (NCI), a leading provider of advanced information technology solutions and professional services to U.S. federal government agencies, announced today that its executive vice president and chief operating officer, Sandy Gillespie, was named the 2018 Pinnacle Awards General Manager of the Year by WashingtonExec. The inaugural awards program, honoring exemplary leadership in the government contracting industry, recognized Gillespie for her success at instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration and operational excellence at NCI.

Winners of the Pinnacle Awards were announced November 1, before an audience of more than 300 government contracting leaders and influencers. This year’s judges committee reviewed 125 nominations across 13 categories. In addition, NCI’s Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer Brad Mascho – who was recently recognized by WashingtonExec as a Top AI Exec to Watch – was named a finalist for AI Executive of the Year. And, Josh Salmanson, NCI’s vice president of cybersecurity and emerging technology, was a Pinnacle Awards finalist in the STEM Advocate of the Year category.
