NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centerview Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm, announced today that Todd Kaplan has joined the firm as a partner in the San Francisco office. Mr. Kaplan brings more than 30 years of investment banking experience to Centerview and is recognized as a leading advisor and dealmaker.
Mr. Kaplan will advise asset-intensive operating companies across the firm’s industry verticals with a particular focus on companies with significant real estate interests. He will also work to develop and build client relationships as a senior member of Centerview’s growing west coast operation.

Prior to joining Centerview, Mr. Kaplan had been Executive Vice Chairman of Global Banking at BofA Merrill Lynch since 2010. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1986 and held a number of senior positions at the firm, including heading Global Leveraged Finance and Global Capital Markets.
