BioUtah’s 2018 Utah Life Sciences Summit Presented by ATL Technology Opens November 1, in Salt Lake City

The Summit will host the year’s largest gathering of the Utah life sciences industry, featuring world-class speakers, education sessions and valuable networking opportunities

SALT LAKE CITY--()--BioUtah, Utah’s only trade association dedicated solely to the life sciences community, kicks-offs its 9th annual Utah Life Sciences Summit November 1, presented by ATL Technology. The Summit will be held at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Summit is the largest of its kind in the state, where top life sciences business leaders, experts and professionals convene to provide companies with strategies and best practices to promote innovation, capitalize on opportunities, address challenges and grow the industry.

The Summit will include a special announcement from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) about the establishment of a RAPS Utah Chapter that will put Utah on the map in terms of its expertise in quality and compliance.

An impressive lineup of speakers is scheduled throughout the day, including Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, director of the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health; Lt. Governor Spencer J. Cox; Dr. Marc Harrison, president and CEO of Intermountain Healthcare; Pat Jones, CEO of the Women’s Leadership Institute; Juliette Tennert, director of economic and public policy research at the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute; State Senator Wayne Niederhauser, President of the Utah State Senate; and State Representative Robert Spendlove, member of the Utah State House of Representatives and chief economist at Zions' Bank.
