American Veterinarian® Presents Veterinary Crossfire During Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference® Welcome Reception on October 8

The conference will feature interactive discussions among veterinary experts

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--American Veterinarian®, a premier multimedia provider of cutting-edge veterinary news, research and conference coverage, will kick off the Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference® (ACVC) welcome reception will an all-new Veterinary Crossfire discussion segment at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

“We are thrilled to announce this nonaccredited portion to our ACVC agenda to kick off the conference,” said Chris Hennessy, publisher of American Veterinarian®. “The Veterinary Crossfire will allow us to fully explore the insights and opinions of our audience, our experts and Dr. Young on veterinary topics and trends that are beneficial to veterinary professionals.”

The all-new Veterinary Crossfire discussion segment will feature Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff Young, DVM; Nancy Shaffran, CVT, VTS, president of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, as the moderator; and Adam Christman, DVM, MBA, co-chief of staff of Brick Town Veterinary Hospital, and Liz Hughston, Med, RVT, CVT, VTS (SAIM, ECC), a relief veterinary technician and trainer, as the two key opinion leaders who will discuss and debate topics and trends facing veterinary professionals today. The segment will also allow the audience to submit questions and have them answered by the panel of experts.

The 29th annual ACVC is a multiday educational event that will offer over 200 hours of veterinary continuing education approved by the Registry of Approved Continuing Education. In addition to content for veterinarians, the conference will offer custom educational tracks geared toward technicians, practice managers and front office staff. Attendees will also have access to over 200 exhibitors and many opportunities to network and collaborate with their peers.
