180 South Appoints Fanny Axén as Global Brand Leader, Pioneers New Product Division in Los Angeles

NEW YORK--()--180 South Group today announced the appointment of Fanny Axén to the position of Global Brand Division Leader, Beyond Pacific®, effective immediately. In June, Axén was named Project Manager for 180 South, Americas. She will continue to report directly to Kyle Kane, Co-founder and CEO, while leading the new Los Angeles-based consumer product division.

Since joining 180 South from 2015 to 2016, Axén led the brand in EMEA where she oversaw sales, marketing, merchandising, product development and direct-to-consumer activities. In her most recent role as Project Manager, she helped to coordinate the brand’s Americas business and strategic initiatives for sales, merchandising and the direct-to-consumer business, spanning various markets and industry categories.

Prior to joining 180 South, Axén contributed to iconic entertainment projects, such as Nicki Minaj, Elan Morrison, Rick Ross, Mohombi, Ryan Leslie, and Ro James. She has spent nearly twelve years in marketing and held various positions, including Head of Music / A&R, public relations, and sales management roles.
