The company saw an opportunity to increase customer adoption of analytics by providing better tools to engage with embedded BI by using GoodData. The company successfully deployed GoodData as its embedded analytics offered a shift to deliver insights to users more directly with proactive dashboards and visualizations that are easy to use and were designed with the self-sufficient business user in mind. ServiceChannel succeeded in empowering its customers with valuable actionable insights, resulting in higher customer adoption and satisfaction, while eliminating legacy system costs, and increasing IT and manager productivity.

Nucleus quantified the initial and ongoing costs of software subscription fees, implementation, personnel time to deploy and support the application, and the cost of training to quantify ServiceChannel’s total investment in GoodData. The productivity savings were quantified based on the annual fully loaded cost of those employees using a productivity correction factor to account for the inefficient transfer of time between time saved and additional time worked.
