ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brokers taking part in the inaugural Word & Brown General Agency “Week of Webinars” (WOW) series this month earned more than 7,700 Continuing Education (CE) Credits to help them maintain their California insurance licenses.
A first-of-its-kind, WOW offered brokers the opportunity to earn up to 12 CE Credits in just one week, all via webinar. One CE Credit was available for each of 12 courses covering a broad range of insurance-related topics, including ethics and principles, navigating compliance challenges and changes, ERISA 101, COBRA, and security awareness, among others. Courses were presented by Word & Brown leaders, all subject matter experts.

More than 1,200 brokers signed up for the Week of Webinars courses. The series gave brokers the opportunity to earn half of the CE Credits mandated for California insurance professionals. The Department of Insurance requires Accident and Health licensees to complete a total of 24 hours of Continuing Education for every two-year license term.
