Kyruus to Host Fifth Annual Thought Leadership on Access Symposium (ATLAS) in October 2018

Health System Leaders to Discuss the Role of Patient Access in Driving Systemness; Keynotes Include Founder of Travelocity.com and Customer Experience Futurist

BOSTON--()--Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced that its Fifth Annual Thought Leadership on Access Symposium (ATLAS) will take place in Boston from October 15-17, 2018. ATLAS is the preeminent patient access conference for hospital and health system leaders. This year’s theme, Systemness. Ignited, will center on the role that patient access plays in laying the foundation for a positive and cohesive patient experience across the entire health system enterprise.

This year’s keynote speakers include Terry Jones, the founder of Travelocity.com, founding chairman of Kayak.com, and chairman of Wayblazer.ai; and Blake Morgan, a customer experience futurist and author of “More is More: How The Best Companies Go Farther and Work Harder to Create Knock Your Socks Off Customer Experiences.” Jones, a powerful voice in the world of entrepreneurship, will explore how organizations can spark innovation in an increasingly digital world while Morgan, an inspiring customer experience visionary, will share how organizations across industries have mastered a consistent customer experience and what health systems can learn from them.

“ATLAS is an invaluable conference that brings together leaders from health systems across the country to share ideas and best practices on their approach to patient access, as well as key related topics like provider engagement and change management,” said Molly Suwinski, Chief Access Officer at USF Health. “I look forward to returning this year and engaging with the leaders at this year’s event so we can inspire and empower each other to continue transforming the patient experience and advancing systemness across our organizations.”

During the three-day event, executives from patient access, patient experience, innovation, marketing, and clinical functions will discuss a range of timely topics. The program includes breakout tracks focused on driving health systems’ digital transformations, exploring new frontiers of patient access, and positioning access as a strategic imperative. This year’s speakers include executives from Providence St. Joseph Health, Christiana Care Health System, Piedmont Healthcare, Geisinger, USF Health, and more. Prior to the main event, Kyruus will be hosting its annual Customer Forum, as well as a new Clinical Summit, which will bring clinical leaders together to discuss topics like driving physician engagement and preventing burnout.

“We’ve seen patient access rise rapidly as a priority for health systems over the last several years – irrespective of organization size, type, or location,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “As M&A activity in healthcare continues at its rapid pace, it is becoming even more imperative that organizations think about access across the entire system. This year, we’re excited to explore the role patient access plays in enabling systemness with some of the most innovative thinkers in the industry.”
