SOUTH AMBOY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continuing his fight against the scourge of robocalls, Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. D-NJ, will hold a press event at the headquarters of RoboKiller, the award winning app that gets even with robocalls by answering the calls it blocks. Pallone will discuss his recently introduced Stopping Bad Robocalls Act (HR6026) to increase consumer protections from robocalls.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 19th at 11:00am EST at TelTech, 101 South Broadway, in South Amboy, NJ. TelTech is the developer of RoboKiller, which won the FTC’s, Robocalls: Humanity Strikes Back competition.
“RoboKiller is honored to host Congressman Pallone as he discusses this important legislation in the fight against robocalls. Our app, is putting spammers out of business by answering the calls we block with Answer Bots, and we are excited to demonstrate how our technology can work in conjunction with Mr. Pallone’s legislative efforts,” said Ethan Garr, RoboKiller’s VP of Product.
Answer Bots are a key feature of the RoboKiller service. As the app identifies and blocks hundreds of thousands of phone numbers to protect its users from ringing spam calls, it silently answers those calls with Answer Bots. The Bots are chosen from a library or users create their own in the app. Answer Bots wasted more than 50,000 hours of human spammer’s time last month.
Media and members of the public are welcome. More information about RoboKiller can be found at www.robokiller.com or in the App Store.
