RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Redwood Software, the pioneer behind ‘The Robotic Enterprise’, today announced an industry-first robotics as a service model, relieving customers from the significant burden of robotic process development and maintenance.
Available now, the Redwood RoboticsTM solution supports the full customer robotic journey, from installation to analytics helping deliver process improvements in the shortest time and with the lowest lifecycle costs.
Most importantly, the solution provides companies with access to an extensive catalog of pre-built robotic services that are developed and maintained by Redwood. This allows business users to quickly and easily visualize, define and execute robotic business processes, without the need for complex desktop-based scripting or reliance on skilled in-house or outsourced development teams. While customers and partners can continue to build robots themselves, there is also an opportunity for customers to request a robotic service that is not currently available in the catalog. If the service is valuable to other customers, Redwood will build and make it available through the catalog at no additional cost.
“At Redwood, we go beyond what traditional robotic process automation vendors offer. While most sell a bare bones toolkit and expect customers to build and maintain their own processes, Redwood builds and supports robotic services as a standard part of our offerings,” said Mehdi Rezaie, Chief Operating Officer, Americas, AsiaPac and Japan at Redwood Software.
“Unlike with traditional RPA companies, we make it very easy for users of all levels to build, deploy and maintain low-code software robots, so they can more quickly reap the benefits without the typical costs and barriers to success.”
Earlier this year, Redwood announced the first industry robotic licensing model, revolutionizing transparent marketplace pricing. This original approach to pricing means customers pay only for the robotic benefit they derive rather than worry about the cost of an arbitrary definition of a robot, what it may or may not do, how many might be required and what resources are needed to actually build and keep those robots running.
