NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--m/SIX, a full service media agency backed by GroupM, announced today it has named media industry veteran Ray Romero as the firm’s chief digital officer for North America. In the newly created role, Romero will oversee the fast-growing agency’s digital efforts and technology investment with a focus on empowering advertisers to reach consumers in a meaningful and personalized manner wherever they access media.
Romero brings nearly two decades of media industry experience to the position, most recently serving as chief digital officer at MetaVision Media where he led the agency’s digital and data strategy, including managing the firm’s programmatic trading desk. Prior to MetaVision, he was vice president for digital activation at Horizon Media. Throughout his career Romero has played a hands-on role helping advertisers navigate the entire consumer journey from upper funnel brand building to conversion-driven performance marketing. Clients he has worked with include Nestlé, PepsiCo, Burger King, Visa, Hershey’s, Mondelez, Vonage and Virgin Atlantic.
