(NASDAQ: PPBI) (the “Company” or “Pacific Premier Bancorp”), the holding company of Pacific Premier Bank, announced today that, at a special meeting of the Company's stockholders held on May 21, 2018, the Company received stockholder approval of the issuance of shares of its common stock in connection with the consummation of the proposed merger with Grandpoint Capital, Inc. (“Grandpoint”). In addition, Grandpoint’s stockholders approved the proposed transaction by written consent, with the solicitation period for the written consent of Grandpoint’s stockholders ending on May 21, 2018. The proposed transaction with Grandpoint remains subject to receipt of all required bank regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
