Breakout sessions are developed around this year’s theme—Leadership in Action—and are headed by regional leaders whose goals are to foster leadership in business, government, and non-profit organizations that more fully reflect our region. Young professionals, mid-life women balancing family with work, and top-rung professionals can all benefit.

“I’m excited about this year’s theme, Leadership in Action. A big part of our conference takeaway is declaring a ‘word’ to help you manifest actionable goals in the coming year, and our speakers are going to help our attendees do just that!” said Rhonda Klug, WLC 2018 Conference President.

The conference will be held on Friday, May 11, from 7:45 AM–5 PM at the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites, 2525 Ashland Street, Ashland, OR 97520.

About the Women’s Leadership Conference of SO

Since the Women’s Leadership Conference of SO was first held in February 2013, more than 1700 people have attended. The conference grew out of a desire to see more women represented in leadership roles in business and the community. This desire is not just about inspiring women to step up as leaders, but also about encouraging women to use their voice and share their stories. From these early ideas, shared over coffee, a community has grown. We provide both personal inspiration and practical application to promote more equitable representation of women leaders in our community—at every career level and all stages of personal growth.

The Women’s Leadership Conference of SO is presented by Southern Oregon University with the sponsorship of more than 30 regional businesses and organizations, including platinum sponsor Lithia Motors, Ruby Slipper Designs and gold sponsors Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) and Harry & David, Neuman Hotel Group, and Moss Adams.
