LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FX Blue, a global market leader in FinTech solutions for retail FX and CFD banks, brokers and traders, has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
The award was given to FX Blue for International Trade in recognition of its substantial and sustained year on year growth in overseas sales. Over the last eight years, FX Blue has rapidly expanded its global client base and currently supplies FinTech solutions to banks and brokers in over 20 countries and free trade analytics and software services to retail traders in over 120 countries worldwide.
London-headquartered FX Blue has made a material contribution to the global retail FX and CFD trading markets since its inception in 2010.
Through its business-to-business division, FX Blue Labs, the firm has developed a range of multi-platform and multi-lingual ‘Software as a Service’ solutions including innovative apps, widgets and trading technology services. These help banks and brokers to attract, inform, and retain clients by offering them enhanced trading functionality and access to premium data and analytics.
Through FX Blue, its retail division, the organisation has developed a free portal giving retail traders access to institutional quality trade analytics and trading related software, enabling them to make better informed decisions.
Jonathan Collins, co-founder and partner, comments, “It is a huge honour to win this award, to be invited to Buckingham Palace and to receive such a prestigious endorsement for our business achievements. It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the entire team.”
Fellow co-founder and partner, John Morris, adds, “FX Blue has been profitable since our first year of trading and has grown significantly year on year, with exports now accounting for over 60% of our revenues. We have ambitious growth plans moving forward and will continue to focus on our strengths in product innovation, enabling banks, brokers and retail traders worldwide to access institutional quality tools, data and analytics.”
Collins and Morris, both with backgrounds in financial services in the City, set up FX Blue after spotting a gap in the market for expertise in retail foreign exchange technologies. Without any external funding, they have grown FX Blue into one of the most successful FinTech companies in the global retail FX sector. The company employs a small team of UK-based specialists and is best known for innovation, flexibility, reliability and excellent customer service.
