The competition will pit 16 sales development teams against one another in a friendly competition to develop their sales development skills. The competition will take place bi-annually.
“Sales development teams are an indispensable link between the marketing and sales teams – they keep hard fought prospects moving through the pipeline,” says Sarah Harbison, Director of Sales Development at Sigstr. “Sales development reps spend countless hours calling and emailing sales leads, with little time left for professional development. SDR Wars is an effort to develop reps on-site, allowing them to sharpen their skills without the lost time of attending a conference.”
Throughout the month of March, participating teams will compete in a head-to-head, bracket-style tournament focusing on quality sales connections. The overall tournament winner will earn a trophy and bragging rights throughout the year.
SDR Wars will be moderated and emceed by Morgan Ingram, founder of The SDR Chronicles and Director of Sales Execution and Evolution at JBarrows Sales Training.
