SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JASK, the provider of the industry’s only Autonomous Security Operations Center (ASOC) platform, today announced it has entered into a technology alliance with Carbon Black, a leader in next-generation endpoint security. The alliance integrates the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities of the JASK ASOC platform with in-depth alerts from Carbon Black’s Cb Defense and Cb Response.
The JASK ASOC platform delivers actionable threat insights that prioritize the way a security operations center (SOC) analyst monitors, analyzes and investigates threats. Cb Defense offers next-generation antivirus (NGAV) software, coupled with innovative endpoint detection and response (EDR). Cb Response provides incident response and threat hunting, empowering security teams to detect attacks in progress and respond immediately. With this integration, customers will gain a consolidated view of alerts from Carbon Black, JASK and any other existing solution, as well as enhanced data correlation and analysis to streamline alert triage.
“In the older SOC model, IT teams received data from their endpoints through a SIEM, where they manually supplemented with context from other sources and often continually hand-tuned policies,” said David Tsao, a JASK and Carbon Black customer and the global information security officer for Veeva Systems. “In the next-generation SOC, ML removes significant portions of this manual work. We see the integration between JASK and Carbon Black as a big leap toward this future vision.”
For Carbon Black customers, the combined solutions offer automated, intelligent alert correlation from any platform, with sophisticated analysis capabilities that streamline response times. The integration will arm JASK customers with a rich, in-depth view of their endpoints leveraging Carbon Black. Joint customers will notice a more seamless experience as they seek to harness their data to investigate and resolve alerts across the organization.
“SOC analysts are working with an array of cybersecurity tools and managing thousands of alerts each day, while attackers only need to slip by once to cause damage,” said Michael Viscuso, co-founder and chief technology officer of Carbon Black. “It’s critical we leverage new technologies such as JASK’s ASOC platform to deliver the context security teams need.”
“Modernizing security operations, reducing response times and empowering the SOC analyst is at the core of everything we do at JASK,” said J.J. Guy, chief technology officer of JASK. “As we look to build and strengthen our technology alliances to bring improved automation and efficiency to the SOC, this partnership with Carbon Black, one of the most advanced endpoint security companies in the market today, signifies a major milestone.”
