DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teleco South Florida, a Deerfield Beach, FL based National Technology Provider of Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS, Structured Cabling, Business Phone Systems, IT Managed Services, Video Surveillance and Building Card Access Solutions is excited to announce the addition of Wayne Puffer, Andrew Mancone and Florencia Hernandez to the team. All three come from the wireless industry and bring to the table over 60 years of combined expertise in telecommunications technology.
Cellular DAS (Distributed Antenna System), also known as In-Building Wireless, is a way to deal with poor cellular reception inside a structure. The system consists of a network of relatively small antennas that serve as cellular signal repeaters. These antennas are physically connected to a central controller which is integrated with the wireless carriers’ network.
Public Safety DAS provides two-way radio service via an antenna system, ensuring that our first responders can maintain wireless communications within a building in emergency situations.
“With the exploding growth of the Cellular and Public Safety DAS sectors, we felt hiring Wayne as VP of the Wireless division, Andrew as VP of Partner Development DAS and Wireless Solutions and Florencia as VP of Marketing was a necessary step to offer our customers and dealers the most viable solutions available. Rest assured the process of lead generation, business development, sales and commissioning of our DAS systems is in the hands of experts. We welcome the new team members to our stellar company and feel that we are now stronger than ever,” said Mark Williams, President Teleco South Florida.
