Walmart, CVS Health and Tommy Hilfiger to Speak at NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show

WASHINGTON--()--Executives from Walmart, CVS Health and Tommy Hilfiger will address the latest trends, innovations and strategies for transformation in the digital age as more than 35,000 retailers from nearly 100 countries convene in New York City January 14-16 at the National Retail Federation’s 107th annual convention.

Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon will take the stage at 3 p.m. on the first day of NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show with NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. The two will discuss key strategies for retailers to survive in today’s dynamic environment in a session on “the changing face of retail.”

Helena Foulkes, executive vice president of CVS Health and president of CVS Pharmacy, will speak on “empowering customers to make everyday health care better” at 9:30 a.m. on January 15. Foulkes will provide insight into the purpose-driven culture at CVS Health that informed the company’s recent acquisition of Aetna.

Tommy Hilfiger, founder and principal designer at Tommy Hilfiger, will close out the conference in a session titled “The Power of Disruption” beginning at 4:15 p.m. on January 16. The world-renowned fashion icon will share how he has kept his brand at the forefront of the industry by embracing technology and driving innovation.

“The retail industry is going through a transformation, and that’s the theme you will hear from all of our speakers at this year’s show,” NRF Senior Vice President for Retail Strategy Cristina Ceresoli said. “These are strong industry leaders with expertise and insights that will inspire, challenge and encourage others to enhance their brands through customer service, technology and constantly embracing the change driven by the consumer.”
