New York drivers can now access short-term rentals, including TLC-licensed vehicles, to make money driving for ride-sharing and delivery services

LOS ANGELES--()--HyreCar, the low-cost, low-commitment online car rental service, today announced it had begun offering short-term vehicle rentals, including TLC-plated cars, to drivers throughout the state of New York. With this announcement, HyreCar brings the number of states it is active in to 29.

HyreCar brings the on-demand economy and the gig economy together by offering a marketplace that lets vehicle owners earn money on idle vehicles while providing flexible top-quality options for drivers wishing to earn money driving for ride-sharing and delivery services. Drivers can rent by the day, week, or month and rentals are open to drivers 21 years and older.

“We’re excited about opening our marketplace to the people of New York,” said Joe Furnari, CEO of HyreCar. “Our low prices, especially on TLC-plated vehicles, mean that drivers across the great state of New York will have access to far better opportunities to make money driving or delivering for the services of their choice.”
