PetSmart to Celebrate National Ice Cream Day in NYC with First-ever Ice Cream Truck Serving Both Dogs and Their Pet Parents

Pet Celebrities such as model and fashionista @Tinkerbellethedog to partake in the fun

For the first time ever, PetSmart is unveiling a Doggie Ice Cream Truck and hosting a FREE ice cream social in New York City on July 14 in advance of National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 17. While supplies last, PetSmart will be serving up free dog-friendly and human ice cream treats so both dogs and their pet parents can enjoy a cool treat together to commemorate this fun national holiday. Ice cream social participants will also have the chance to meet and share treat time with social media celebrity pets including Tinkerbelle (@Tinkerbellethedog) and Walter Cronkite (@thedailywalter) during this event.

Ice cream and food trucks are commonplace on the streets of NYC. This is believed to be the first-ever Ice Cream Truck to serve up cool treats for both dogs and their humans.
