As a Partner at Echelon, Mr. Bottano is jointly responsible for conducting new business initiatives and enhancing the firm’s growing reputation in the marketplace.

Mr. Bottano brings over twenty-five years of experience advising boards and senior management on corporate governance, performance measurement, and incentive compensation design and is a recognized expert on the strategic, financial, and regulatory structure of incentive plans.
Previously, Mr. Bottano was a Vice President of Farient Advisors, Managing Director of Korn/Ferry’s executive compensation practice (which he joined from Mercer as a Principal), and a partner with SCA Consulting, which was acquired by Mercer. Early in his career, he specialized in corporate financial advisory services at both ARCO and Deloitte Consulting.
Mr. Bottano holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Finance from the University of California Haas School of Business, with Phi Beta Kappa honors.
